The prestigious non-profit organization URAP at the Informatics Institute of Middle East Technical University in Ankara, ranked MU-Sofia on the 1st place in Bulgaria and on the 1305th place in the world ranking by academic performance.
Over 4,000 higher education institutions or 10% of all HEI’s around the world are scored in the current edition of the ranking in various subject areas. The global URAP ranking ranks universities according to their academic performance, which includes tracking a number of bibliometric indicators: index of publications, quality and quantity of publications, international research collaboration performance in co- publications, Research impact, current scientific productivity, international acceptance and etc.
